UPDATE
The Nature Center Complex
Exciting news! The legislature has officially approved major funding for the construction of the brand-new Nature Center, and the groundbreaking will kick off in Q4 of 2026!
The current Nature Center operates out of the historic Chambers House—an incredible building that's nearly 200 years old. Packed with collections, buzzing summer programs, and year-round activities, it’s bursting at the seams.
The new facility will provide the much-needed space to expand programming, enhance visitor experiences, and better connect the community to the wonders of our park.
